21st-Century Science Coalition Surpasses 1200 Signees

The 21st-Century Science Coalition is a group of Texas scientists who have joined together to ensure that Texas students get a sound science education reflecting the most up-to-date scientific knowledge. Since my first mention of the coalition on this blog, the list of signees has increased tremendously. There are now well over 1200 Texas scientists who have taken a public stand in support of REAL science.

If you are a scientist who currently resides in the state of Texas, I strongly encourage you to sign the statement. If you know a scientist who lives in Texas, click here to open your email program and send that scientist a personal invitation to sign the list.

In addition to surpassing the 1200 mark, the list's "Steve" count has increased to 22.
